An exquisite retired porcelain figurine by the renowned Spanish manufacturer Lladró. Model No. 4990, Timid Japanese, was designed by sculptor Salvador Debón, introduced in 1978 and discontinued in 1998.

 

The figurine depicts an elegant Japanese geisha in a graceful, reserved pose, holding a delicately detailed fan. Finished in Lladró’s signature soft pastel colours, with an intricately modelled kimono, an elaborate traditional hairstyle and delicate hand-crafted porcelain flowers adorning her hair.

 

Excellent condition, with all delicate floral details beautifully preserved.
