An elegant shallow open sugar bowl by Royal Crown Derby, decorated in the classic Traditional Imari style. The rich combination of deep cobalt blue, coral-red accents and lavish gilding is complemented by delicate hand-painted decoration.
The softly recessed form is particularly attractive, finished with a graceful scalloped edge. Its richly detailed decoration makes the piece equally striking displayed on its own or as part of a Royal Crown Derby Imari service.
Immaculately preserved, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The painted decoration and gilding remain exceptionally well preserved.
