The exceptionally pretty floral decoration is transfer-printed, yet has the soft, painterly quality of hand-painted porcelain. Gentle washes of blush pink, pale blue and ivory create an almost watercolour-like background, complemented by colourful botanical sprays and fine gilt edging.
