An exceptional large-format Dresden porcelain jardinière, distinguished by its impressive scale, elaborate openwork construction and extraordinarily rich floral decoration.

The oval body is formed as an intricate hand-finished porcelain lattice, creating the characteristic lightness and delicacy associated with the finest Dresden decorative porcelain. The pierced walls are embellished with delicate painted floral details, while the exterior is lavishly adorned with applied three-dimensional flowers and foliage in a beautifully balanced palette of soft pink, violet, blue, yellow and coral tones. Two sculptural twisted handles and finely gilded borders complete the composition, while the interior reveals a magnificent central polychrome floral bouquet — a particularly beautiful detail visible when the jardinière is viewed from above.

Its substantial proportions make this an especially striking example. Measuring approximately 37.5 cm from handle to handle, it belongs to the rarer large-format category of Dresden porcelain and has exceptional presence as both a collector’s piece and an interior statement.

Remarkably well preserved and presented in excellent condition, virtually as new. Considering the exceptionally delicate nature of the reticulated porcelain and extensive applied floral decoration, its survival is particularly impressive. Only two applied flowers have minute micro-chips to the petals, barely perceptible on inspection; otherwise, the piece presents beautifully.
