A rare and particularly impressive large Royal Worcester pot-pourri vase from the celebrated Blush Ivory collection, Shape No. 1031.

The generously proportioned body displays Worcester’s distinctive Blush Ivory palette, graduating from warm ivory to delicate peach-blush tones. Rich moulded foliate decoration surrounds the body, which is raised on three elegant scrolling feet with finely applied gilt highlights.

The most striking feature is the elaborate domed cover, measuring 19.5 cm in diameter. Almost entirely pierced, it is formed from an intricate arrangement of scrolling foliage and leaves, creating an exceptionally delicate porcelain lacework effect. The moulded border and individual details are further enhanced with hand-applied gilding.

At approximately 17 cm high and 18 cm across the body, this is a substantial example with considerably greater presence than the smaller Royal Worcester pot-pourri pieces more commonly encountered.

Beautifully preserved antique condition, with no notable damage. Only minimal age-related rubbing in two small areas beneath the cover, occurring naturally at the points where the lid meets the body and virtually invisible when assembled.
