An original Wedgwood Jasperware plaque in the manufactory's iconic pale blue colourway, beautifully displayed within a black velvet mount and an elegant wooden frame. One of Wedgwood's most enduring decorative forms, Jasperware has been celebrated since the eighteenth century for its distinctive matte finish and finely modelled white reliefs inspired by Classical art.

The plaque is attractively presented as a ready-to-display wall panel, with the contrast of the black velvet mount enhancing the delicate relief decoration and the soft blue jasper body.

Overall dimensions are 34.5 × 18.5 cm (13.6 × 7.3 inches). Presented in excellent collector's condition. The velvet mount is beautifully preserved, while the frame shows only minimal, age-related wear.
