Combining richly cut English crystal with elegant silver-plated mounts, this impressive pair of claret jugs reflects the refined craftsmanship of the late Victorian and early Edwardian period. The heavy crystal bodies are beautifully hand-cut with intricate geometric decoration that catches the light from every angle, while the star-cut bases are a hallmark of quality English crystal of the period.

The silver-plated mounts, gracefully shaped handles and domed hinged lids are finely detailed with flowing floral ornament, complementing the brilliance of the crystal and giving the jugs their distinguished appearance.

Both jugs are presented in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks or restoration. The crystal remains bright and clear, and the silver plating is beautifully preserved.
